Voice Commands for Xbox One app for iPhone and iPad

Voice commands for Xbox One speaks all Xbox One voice commands that the Kinect can understand. Each command is on a separate button and there are also 12 extra buttons to record your own commands (or get someone to record them for you). You can also chain commands together using the macro facility and assign them to one of 12 macro buttons. This lets you then get the app to say things like "XBOX Switch to Skype" by combing the "XBOX Switch to" button and the "Skype" button.

Xbox One voice commands was developed initially for my son who has slight speech problems. He was getting really frustrated with the Xbox Kinect system not recognising his voice. It was just a few buttons on the screen but after some of his friends seeing it, they asked if they could have it. So I give it a bit of polish, tidied it up and decided to release it for free.

The custom and macro buttons are for linking buttons together that need more that one command. If the button has square brackets ([ ]) in the title this means another command is needed. For example "Xbox Snap [app]" this needs two commands to work, the first one will say "Xbox Snap" and the second will say the name of the App. So what you would do here is use the macro button and choose the "Xbox Snap [app]" and then choose the app button you require. If the app you require doesnt have its own button then you can record your own on a custom button.

We will be updating the app as more apps and games get released and hopefully we have covered everything released so far. Also we are not sure on every game pronunciation for Kinect as we dont own every game and app.

The App only speaks English, if we get enough requests for other languages we might consider translation.
